Red Hot Embers Ohio Exhibit

Visitor Comments (Taken from the exhibit comment book - names withheld)

September 7, 2006 - Ohio Debut at the Akron Summit County Library in Akron

- Keep spreading the message. The world needs to understand that people are far more improtant than capital. This country needs health care for all. Like water itself, it is a basic human right - not a commodity.

- We are beyond blessed in America - we are spoiled rotten! My prayers go out to all those in need - May God Bless Them!

- Beloved, the greatest poser in the universe is able to do what is impossible for man to do. If my comment rings true, then I implore to you to pray right now at this very moment. Ask God to fix this in Christ Jesus' name and as you pray believe in your heart without doubting and without shame that God hears you. God bless you.

- I'm a gay white man with AIDS living in Akron. But, of course, AIDS is not just a gay white man's issue here in the U.S. nor in Akron.

I'm a member of a newly-formed client's Action Board; our goal is to write hand-signed letters to government officials, letting htem know why we depend heavily on goverment support to stay alive, to keep our families together, and so on.

We are a diverse group of women, men, black, white - we share a common need, and a common hope. We want to know that, when we one day shed our mortal coil, we will have left the world a safer, saner, and happier place for our having been here.

- Thank you for the exhibit, we need more activity in our communities to connect our common concern for humanity.

- My heart goes out to all the people who suffer. I wish I could do more. They are in my heart and prayers.

- My concern is holiness if I mention the word CHASTE! I am extremely sorry for this disease also, and all the problems entailed with it. If I may help, I will continue to try to as one not affected as a Christian who prevails against all diseases overcoming me. Keep us all informed how we truly may help safley and with resentment, rejection, hatred's, offenses, etc. like things...

- My best friend is my mother because she takes good care of me.

- Very very thought provoking. I never imagined so much that this disease was so devastating to these poor countries. Thank your for opening up my mind and thoughts.

- Hooray, Hooray

- Thank you for the knowledge.

- Thank you very, very much for the information!

- My best friend has aids. More people need to realize and become more aware of how serious this issue is. Thank you for the insight.

- My dad died and it was very painful for me.
