On Wednesday, March 7, 2007, the Northeast Ohio American Friends Service Committee welcomed many long-time friends and several new faces to its new office location on the Front Street plaza in Cuyahoga Falls. Some of the features of the new office include a reception area with a resource and lending library, a multipurpose meeting room that will be used for meetings, classes, and film showings, and a separate workroom area that also has two computer stations for volunteers and interns. During the Open House we set up a Photo-Op station for those who wished to join the National AFSC's "Friends For Peace" campaign. These photos have been posted online at http://www.friendsforpeace.org/ and also HERE on our own Northeast Ohio Friends For Peace page. If you would like to have your photo taken to be included from Northeast Ohio, contact Leah Davis at 330-928-2301. We have a camera in the office to accommodate you.
