Democracy and social change happen when
people educate their community on social issues, lobby public officials,
conduct public ballot initiatives, research and expose immoral or criminal
behavior by governments or corporations, organize marches and rallies,
form local action groups or projects, make donations, volunteer with
existing groups, and countless other ways.
Remember, we have more power than we
think, and a little less than we need. Your gifts of time, creativity,
money, and passion will help in the creation of real democracy and change
locally and expand the voice for democracy and social change nationally
and globally.
