PUBLIC MEETING!
On Tuesday, May 23, 2006 Concerned Citizens of Lake Township
(CCLT) held a public meeting to share conclusions of their report on
radiation at the Industrial Excess Landfill (IEL) in Uniontown.
CCLT received a $50,000 grant from the national group RESOLVE a few
years ago to use to hire consultants to review existing data and conduct/analyze
new water samples surrounding the site (the consultants were denied
access to the site itself).
