Reform Ohio Now
Reform Ohio Now (http://www.ReformOhioNow.org) is a statewide grassroots initiative campaign to place 3 amendments on the ballot this November. One of the 3 amendment addresses campaign finance reform.

The summary of that amendment reads:
The saturation of money into political campaigns is at an all time high. We propose reducing the maximum individual contribution to $2000 for statewide candidates and $1000 for General Assembly candidates. Corporate contributions would be prohibited, and loopholes allowing minors to make contributions would be tightened. This amendment also places overall limits on total contributions by an individual to all candidates and parties while limiting the amount parties can contribute.

Corruption in Ohio is rampant. A corporate pay-to-play system is not new. A lawsuit was filed last year exposing many years worth of corruption and corporate perversion of the political system in Ohio. See the article above for a summary of that suit.

Help is needed to circulate Reform Ohio Now petitions across the state. To help out, go to the Reform Ohio Now website and sign up.
