The march passed the US Commerce
building. Above the door to one of the main entrances chiseled in stone
is this immortal sign:
Commerce defies every wind, overrides every tempest, invades every zone.
(maybe the most insightful sign seen the whole day regarding what this
war, if not all wars, comes down to -- the US military/US-based corporations'
"right" to "invade every zone" to sell and buy, as
well as extract natural resources, ship waste, and export production to
take advantage of cheap labor and few labor and environmental restrictions).
